Bookshelf Assembly Instructions
01Assemble the Frame
Start with Piece A
- Lay Piece A flat on a hard surface (like a wood floor with a sheet on top). Avoid cushiony surfaces that absorb impact when using a mallet.
- Piece A is labeled with numbers 1 through 9.
- Find the part labeled 1 and align its arrow with the arrow of label "1" on Piece A.
- Insert Part 1 into the slot, push it down slightly, and use a mallet to tap it in until flush.
- Repeat for each part in this order:
- 2/3
- 4/5
- 6/7
- 8/9
Be sure each part is inserted perpendicular and then pushed down.
Insert Shelf Boards
- Now insert the four internal shelf boards—the pieces your books will rest on.
- There are 4 total boards: 3 identical pieces and 1 larger one.
- Each board has a groove that matches the installed vertical dividers. Simply align and slide each board into the grooves until fully seated.
Ensure all boards are fully slid in before proceeding to the next step.
02Attach Piece B
- Place Piece B on top of the vertical parts you’ve installed.
- Start from one side, and carefully align the holes of Piece B with the notches of each part (starting with part 8/9).
- Hold Piece B down by hand as you move across the structure, gently aligning each connection point.
- Once aligned across all parts, give a gentle mallet tap on one side to start seating it into place. No need for heavy force yet.
- At this point, the shelf is still on its side.
Tip: Tap evenly across the structure. Don’t force one side in all the way before the rest is aligned.
Flip Upright & Final Tapping
- Now rotate the bookshelf to its proper standing position—legs down, like it will sit when fully built.
- Now that it’s upright, use a mallet to go over the structure and ensure all parts are securely seated.
- Tap:
- Left side of 2/3
- Right side of 2/3
- Then move to 4/5, left and right
- Repeat this for 6/7 and 8/9
- The structure should feel tight, flush, and level when complete.
03Install the Lid
- Grab the lid and align the hinges.
- The hinge has an L-shaped bracket that fits into the corresponding hinge on the back panel (just like the other bookshelf model).
- Once aligned, push inward until you hear a click—that means it's locked in place.

Make sure you hear a "click" when pushing in the hinge—it confirms proper locking.
